"It's a nice place to spend some precious time with the beauty of nature. The main attraction of this dam is the beautiful view from the shutter bridge. While we visited only a couple of members are available. As the road/path is very narrow, it's Not recommending to take any four-wheelers towards the dam side. Even though there's not much of a crowd, we still can still see much littering like empty plastic bottles, liquor covers etc on the side of the dam."

"Dandiganahalli Dam, located near the Skandagiri peak, is a scenic reservoir that offers stunning views, especially in the early morning. Situated approximately 100 kilometers from Bangalore, it features a footbridge around 15 to 20 meters long, making it a great spot for photography. The journey to the dam takes you through the villages with narrow roads. However, the cleanliness is a concern as the place was littered with beer and alcohol bottles."

"A peaceful and serene place surrounded by lush greenery — perfect for a quiet getaway. It's a great spot for camping, and we could even take our car inside, as the gate was open all day. However, there was no security or guard around, and no signboard indicating timings, so it's unclear if this is always allowed. The place still feels unexplored and untouched, but it may get crowded soon, so expect possible changes in rules or access in the future. The drive to the dam is beautiful - passing through scenic villages and greenery. However, the last stretch includes some rough and muddy roads. Reaching the actual camping spot near the dam is a bit of a challenge, so assess your vehicle's capability before venturing in. Overall, a refreshing and memorable experience , especially because it's still less crowded."

"The roads are good. Even a hatchback car can go near the dam. No ground clearance issue. But after 9:30 in the morning a local old man came and closed the gate. If you want to enjoy the view near the dam, go early. Coconut water stall is also available near the gate."
