"Visited Sri Dakshinamukha Nandi Tirtha Kalyani Kshetra – a unique cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The rock-cut architecture and ancient carvings make it historically significant and spiritually powerful. Known for the rare phenomenon during Makar Sankranti when sunlight passes through the temple's windows to illuminate the Shiva Linga, it's a fascinating blend of devotion, tradition, and science. A must-visit for devotees and history enthusiasts."

"The Nandi Tirtha temple, this temple is located in temple street Malleshwaram. A lesser-known gem, holds a unique charm steeped in history, spirituality, and architectural beauty. Named after its remarkable Dakshinamuka Nandi, which continuously releases a stream of holy water from its mouth, which directly flows onto the Shiva Linga, then into kalyani. Kalyani has many tortoises and fish which attract the people, especially the kids. The water flowing from Nandi's mouth onto the Shiva Linga is believed to originate from a natural underground spring. The whole water is flowing to a pond which is inside the temple of turtles and fishes."

"Very old Shiva temple with continuous flow of water from Nandi's mouth, source of which is unknown. Got to attend the morning arti and was blessed with prasada. When u enter the temple, you can directly see the main idol. On our left side we get ganesha temple. The Kalyani in the centre has some fish and tortoise in it. Priest sells prasada and tiny bottle with Nandi's water in it. Place is cool and calm."
