"Nice place. Very calm and peaceful. Located on a small hill this temple has great vibes. You need to take at least 40 steps to climb to the temple and there is one route which will go directly on the top, still there are about 10 steps to climb. The statue of lord Hanuman is huge. I went on a weekend evening, and there were hardly a few people. There is also a kids play area. The premises of the temple could have been maintained well. There are good seating options on the top. I couldn't find washrooms. Parking a car could be a problem as the base point has a very narrow road, we have to find a spot on some side streets."

"Famous Anjaneya Swami temple located in Hanumanth nagar (next to Basavanagudi) is 60+ years old. Nested in between residential houses is this serene hill temple. Inside the temple there is an eight foot high Murthi of Hanuman in which the Lord is standing at ease with his weapon, the Gadhe(Gadayudha)"
