"Beautiful ancient 1200 years old Shiva temple in the middle of south Bangalore! The Begur Shiva temple is around 20 minutes from Silk Board along the Begur road. The temple itself is very grand built in the Tamil Chola architectural style. Parts of the temple are from the 9th century while most of the structures have been restored using new granite. It still takes you back to a very ancient time!"
