It is a revered Hindu temple dedicated to the goddess Gangamma, believed to be a manifestation of the divine feminine and it's One of the oldest temples in Bengaluru. It is known for its unique architecture and vibrant rituals and It also attracts numerous devotees, especially during the annual festival of Karaga, which celebrates the goddess's power and involves elaborate processions. One can experience positive spiritual vibes and peace upon darshan from this temple. Fridays and days of Amavasya (no moon day) seems to be a busy day where devotees visit to have blessings of goddesses. The main deity of the temple is Gangamma or the Goddess Ganga, who is also considered to have manifested on Earth as the River Ganga and an incarnation of Shakti. "Went on Friday, was crowded and got to attend morning arati. Goddess is very beautiful and the arati done was also mesmerizing. We can feel the goddess energy as soon as we enter the temple premises. Temple architecture is also beautiful. People do individual arati with Jaggery for any wish fulfilment. Can offer lemon garland to goddess which can be bought from shops near temple. One can Peirce lemon on trishula placed on our right side of main temple entry. Temple stays crowded on Tuesday, Friday and weekends."
